Abstract

Desa Prima Dahlia is a group of mothers in Bumijo, Jetis, Yogyakarta City. The purpose of the Desa Prima is to empower housewives to increase economic value by managing joint businesses. The activities of Desa Prima Dahlia’s members were producing foods and selling them. The food products produced by its members were foods that were ordered by offices or certain events. The products have potential because they have several regular customers and quality taste. The problem identified was that the types of food products developed were less varied in terms of food innovation. The members of the Desa Prima Dahlia had never known and had never made non-gluten food products. The method used was to provide counseling on healthy food products and training in making cookies from yellow and purple sweet potato flour to members of the Desa Prima Dahlia. The results of the training showed that the members' skills increased by 70-78%. These community service efforts and results could be continuously implemented in desa prima to improve the economy and socio-culture.
