The method in this study was retrospective. The sampling technique used was Cluster Random Sampling with a sample size of 52 respondents. Data analysis used the chi-square test. the results of the study showed that there was a relationship between family history and the incidence of dysmenorrhea (p Value = 0.027 <0.05) while the age of menarche (p Value = 0.213 > 0.05), length of menstruation (p Value = 0.897 > 0.05) and body mass index (p Value = 0.411 > 0.05) had no relationship with the incidence of dysmenorrhea. Based on the results it was found that factors related to dysmenorrhea were only family history with dysmenorrhea, so that in the future it is advisable to carry out screening to reduce the risk of dysmenorrhea.
